Illinois will offer free, COVID-19 testing later this week in the Quad Cities. From Thursday through Sunday, the drive-through site will be open from 9 am until 5 pm at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island.
The coronavirus test site will be free for Illinois residents, whether they have symptoms or not. No appointment or referral will be needed. But a photo I-D and contact information will be required.

Illinois residents who have symptoms of COVID-19 are encouraged to get tested.
Symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, fatigue, body aches, headaches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
More information is also available HERE. Or call the state's COVID-19 hotline at 800.889.3931.
It'll be the third test site in Rock Island County operated by the state health department. This one is possible due to partnerships with the state, the Rock Island County Emergency Management Agency, the QCCA Expo Center, and Rock Island County Health Department.
