Using recycled and found materials students will create a personalized book called a junk journal. This art journaling technique incorporates collage and story-telling through ephemera (anything from scraps of pretty papers, old magazines and envelopes to personal photos and memorabilia. There are no rules!). This one-of-a-kind, eclectic book will provide an outlet for creative expression, self-awareness, memory-keeping, and relaxation.

Aileen's Tacky Glue
Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue
Permanent glue stick
Fat quarter (22” x 18”) of quilt fabric or comparable
2 yards flat lace, decorative trim or rick rack
Baby wipes
Ribbon
Ink pad (black or brown)*
