An after-school club for girls in 3rd-8th grade who are interested in learning to code. The club is for beginners to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment. Registration is required.

Pop in anytime between 4:00pm and 6:00pm for gaming on the Switch, playing Roblox on a laptop, or trying to make one of our older gaming systems work (Miss Amber says “Good luck to you on that.”) Tabletop gaming and D&D campaigns also welcome. Teens only (ages 11-19) and all gaming is teen-led. Attendees are expected to share playing time and help other players when requested.

A special storytime for babies who are not yet walking and their grown-ups. Emphasis will be on interaction between caregivers and babies through music, action, and stories. If your child is already on the move, check out our Walkers & Wigglers Storytime instead.
QC CAN's Reading Assistance Dogs are specially trained, along with their handler, to provide the environment needed to help children improve their reading skills! This program is great for kids of all ages.

Calling all readers! It’s time to celebrate past and present participants of The Library's 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program! Celebrate achievements with a special photo opportunity, chat with other families, and enjoy treats. Graduates of the program (participants who have read 1000 books) will receive a special prize and diploma during our graduation ceremony. All readers will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win a prize basket.
This ceremony is designed for 1000 Books Before Kindergarten participants and their families. Registration is required for those who wish to participate in the ceremony.

Pre-K Prep Storytime is designed especially to give children access to opportunities that promote school success and build early literacy skills. In addition to stories, songs, and fingerplays, we’ll engage in fun activities that help with letter and number recognition, sight words, counting, colors, and more! Best for children ages 3-5
