Davenport Public Library is excited to announce that Library in the Park will be resuming again this summer!! Join us Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-4pm at Marquette Park (3200 N Marquette St.) to enjoy a storytime at 2pm, activities, checking out materials, placing holds, getting a library card and so much more! A special thank you goes out to the Davenport Parks and Recreation Department and Community and Economic Development for such a wonderful partnership!

**Please note, this is an outdoor and offsite event, bring plenty of water and sunscreen. If there is extreme weather, this event may be subject to cancellation. Please check our website and social media for updates.

The first Thursday of every month is Free Senior Day! All seniors age 60 and up receive free admission, as well as 10% off in the Museum Store. Join us for a free tour at 1:30 p.m. followed by a film in the John Deere Auditorium.

The Figge Art Museum will offer FREE admission from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. as part of the Second Saturdays programming. Each month will feature experiences ranging from dance, music, spoken word, and art-making activities to community conversations, films, projects, and more. Tax Free shopping is available in the Museum Store all day!

All are welcome, everything is free, and we'd love to see you. You're also welcome to join us at 10am for worship indoors!

The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids' dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)
*Register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day, to guarantee your shirt!

Level up your wardrobe with a free Family Tie Dye event. Bring an item or two to tie and dye - we'll supply the materials and take-home instructions. Free, open to all ages. Level up at your Library this summer with 150 free events and reading challenges with prizes for all ages, through July 31.

Rock Island Public Library and Rock Island Parks and Recreation bring you a barnyard book bash, with a free Petting Zoo in the Park. Meet 25 to 35 animals from Miller's Petting Zoo. Free book for each child, free cup of animal feed for the first 200 families, and free popcorn, thanks to sponsorship from Rock Island Township. Library2Go bookmobile will be there, making it the perfect time to wrap up your summer reading challenge! Level Up at Your Library this summer with free reading challenges for all ages and 150 free events.
