Paul Rumler

President and CEO, Paul Rumler, says while restaurants are not allowed to serve food in their dining areas, people can continue to support them by ordering by phone or online for pick-up or delivery.

People may also shop locally by ordering products and services online.

Rumler says the chamber is offering lots of advice and information to company owners and managers.

Illinois and Iowa also worked to make available low interest, federal disaster loans up to $2 million through the Small Business Administration. They're for businesses and nonprofits who are suffering substantial economic injury because of COVID-19.

In addition, the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity is asking organizations to complete an online questionaire about COVID-19 impacts. The Iowa Department of Economic Development is doing the same, asking businesses to complete an online survey

More information and resources are available on the chamber website HERE.
