The Monster Society is an elite secret group whose goal is to educate about the things that go bump in the night. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to first learn about a monster and then execute a craft pertaining to said monster. As always, should you or any of your fellow Society members be caught, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
This program is designed for patrons 8 to 12. This month’s monster is the Loch Ness Monster. Registration is required.

To celebrate Dinovember, we will watch Jurassic Park, one of humanity's most beloved tales of dinosaurs vs. humans and do a craft. Teens only (ages 11-19). Registration is optional. If you register, you will be sent a reminder email for the event.
Film Synopsis: Genetically engineered dinosaurs run amok on a remote island. It's up to a paleontologist, a paleobotanist and a mathematician to outmaneuver the deadly beasts and find their way back to civilization. Based on Michael Crichton's best seller. This film is rated PG-13.
Are you curious about how dinosaurs and their relatives move?
Join Putnam Museum curator, Chris Chandler, as we practice how to walk, crawl, and fly like dinosaurs and their kin. We'll explore what can be learned about these amazing creatures through how they move. So, get ready to walk like Iguanodon, stomp like Brachiosaurus, and run like Deinonychus (think Velociraptor, only bigger).
This program is designed for patrons ages 5 to 9.
