Avita Duo is a mother-daughter partnership of Dr. Ksenia Nosikova on piano and Katya Moeller on violin. Dr. Nosikova is a professor and chair of the piano department at the University of Iowa School of Music, and Katya attends The Juilliard School. The duo trives to highlight both standard repertoire and the works of lesser-known composers.

Safer Foundation is hosting its annual fall fundraiser, Fall into Trivia Night this year with an all things fall theme.
This fundraiser will not only help raise unrestricted funds for Safer Foundation QC programming such as youth empowerment, employment services, and career development, but it will also raise awareness of the barriers faced by youth and adults impacted by the criminal legal system.
Trivia Night will be held on Friday October 10, 2025 at the Columbus Club, 1111 W 35th Street in Davenport Iowa.
Tables of 8 for only $100 with refreshments, great prizes, and a silent auction.

The doors will open at 6:00 and trivia begins at 6:30.

Join WQPT for a PBS Kids party! This free event features PBS Kids costume characters, games, activities, music, art, and more! Event registration is required.
PBS characters attending include Rosie from Rosie's Rules, Curious George, Daniel Tiger, Xavier Riddle, Molly of Denali, Elinor from Elinor Wonders Why, and Carl from Carl the Collector. In addition to meeting their favorite PBS friends, kids can join Alina and Hamlet Being Bilingual Rocks! to get creative with art, music, and dance, and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) with the QC Botanical Center’s Plant Discovery Bus, the WQAD's Beast weather vehicle, and the University of Illinois Extension 4H of Rock Island County.
Each PBS character will have their own station with fun activities, games, and resources to take home — all reinforcing the learning concepts of their specific program. Attendees will also receive a free book from the WQPT PBS First Book program.
Capacity is limited and event registration is required. Free tickets will be available on Monday, September 15th at 8:00am.
The Figge Art Museum will offer FREE admission from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. as part of the Second Saturdays programming. Each month will feature experiences ranging from dance, music, spoken word, and art-making activities to community conversations, films, projects, and more. Tax Free shopping is available in the Museum Store all day!
