Christmas in July Bicycle Ride
The "Christmas in July" bicycle tour will take place on Sunday, July 12, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Freight House in Davenport. The event is sponsored by the Quad Cities Bicycle Club and benefits Bikes For Tykes, an annual effort by the QCBC to brighten the holiday season by donating bicycles and accessories to the children of needy families in the area. Cyclists taking the tour are invited to follow a route of about ten miles that will take them to five breweries on both sides of the river.
