Birdies for Charity

The John Deere Classic continues to rack up honors from the PGA Tour. Last week, the tournament announced it's been awarded "Most Engaged Community" for the eighth time.

This morning at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, local nonprofits picked up their checks from the fundraising arm of the John Deere Classic golf tournament.

Tournament Director Andrew Lehman says people came out in force throughout the week.

Today, the tournament announced the two musicians will perform during an annual series called, "Concerts on the Course."

This summer, the John Deere Classic will be held one week earlier than usual, so Birdies for Charity is early, too.
