Flood Warnings have been issued, with moderate flooding forecast for most locations this week and major flooding next week.

In the Quad Cities, the National Weather Service expects the river to reach flood stage Thursday morning. It's currently half a foot below that. Then it's forecast to reach moderate flood stage early Saturday morning, and major flood stage one week from today (Tuesday, 4/25/2023).

At flood stage, water affects parts of South Concord Street in Davenport and reaches several homes on Enchanted Island. Water also affects industries along the river. Check Be Prepared Davenport for flood resources.

At the Dubuque railroad bridge, the Mississippi should reach flood stage overnight. It's expected to rise five feet by early next week (Monday, 4/24), and that's above major flood stage.

In Burlington, the river is currently just over flood stage. It's expected to rise another two feet by Tuesday (4/25). And that's above moderate flood stage.

More information is on the Quad Cities National Weather Service website.
