More New Deaths & Infections in the QCs Caused by COVID-19

The pandemic has killed and infected more residents of the Quad Cities.

On Wednesday, Rock Island County reported one new death while Scott County reported 6.

In the Illinois Quad Cities, Rock Island County reported 118 new cases of COVID-19 since Monday. Over one week (Nov. 11-17), that's 55 new cases per day, up from an average of 52 cases per day the previous week (Nov. 4-10).

There were 389 new cases in the Iowa Quad Cities, or an average of 56 new cases per day during the past week (Nov. 11-7). That compares with 81 the previous week (Nov. 4-10).

Dubuque County also reported more deaths and new cases - 2 additional deaths from COVID over the past week and 626 new cases for the same time period.
