This week, the State of Illinois is offering free, drive-through coronavirus tests in Aledo.
The state's public health department says people can also walk to the Mercer County Health Department for a COVID-19 test.
The site is located at 305 NW 7th Street in Aledo, and the hours are 9 am until 5 pm, through Thursday.
The test involves a "simple nasal swab" less than an inch into your nose.
People will get a call about their test results in four to seven days.
It's free, but those with insurance should take their card. And you don't have to have symptoms or meet other criteria.
