The development of 52 rental units, costing $15.4 million, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2026. The development site is located at 2345 W 54th St, Davenport.

Rock Island and Moline kick off their free yard waste collection on Monday, October 13th, for the fall season. Davenport and Bettendorf are also providing sticker-free yard waste pickup services starting later in October. East Moline starts its sticker-free yard waste pickup in November.

The Empowerment Center, located at 513 17th Street in Rock Island, is offering free diapers and period supplies for families in need. The YWCA Empowerment Center contains a food pantry, clothing closet, and on-site laundry service. The center is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays.
