The COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Camden Centre in Milan is now accepting walk-ins whenever it's open.The Rock Island County Health Department announced Monday people may go to the clinic without an appointment, Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm. It's operated by the department with help from the Illinois National Guard and many others.
To avoid waiting, people may continue to sign up for appointments HERE.
The Moderna vaccine will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Pfizer on Friday and Saturday. All three brands should be available Thursday.
The Camden Centre vaccination clinic is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Administrator, Nita Ludwig, says the agency is trying to make getting vaccinated as easy as possible. She also says Genesis Health System, Unity Point Health Trinity, Community Health Care, and doctor offices are also helping, along with Hy-Vee, Osco, and Walgreens pharmacies. Hy-Vee also accepts walk-ins.
