As the I-74 Bridge Project continues, the Illinois DOT will change a few traffic patterns in Moline.
Today weather permitting, 6th Avenue between 19th and 21st street will be closed. A contractor will reconstruct these two blocks of 6th Avenue, so it'll be closed through September. The detour will be 7th Avenue (see image above).

Then starting Wednesday also in Moline, southbound 19th Street will be closed between 12th Avenue and Avenue of the Cities.
It'll be closed for about two weeks so crews can demolish an overpass. Drivers may use eastbound I-74 instead (see image to the left).
