Using recycled and found materials students will create a personalized book called a junk journal. This art journaling technique incorporates collage and story-telling through ephemera (anything from scraps of pretty papers, old magazines and envelopes to personal photos and memorabilia. There are no rules!). This one-of-a-kind, eclectic book will provide an outlet for creative expression, self-awareness, memory-keeping, and relaxation.

Create festive art with depth and personality! In this playful, all ages holiday workshop, you’ll experiment with sketching, layering, and combining materials to design a unique holiday card or dimensional artwork. Explore techniques like watercolor, mark making, pastels, and collage—or mix in your own ideas. Bring sketches if you’d like, or come ready to create from scratch on the day of class. No experience needed—just curiosity and a festive spirit!
We encourage younger and older art makers to make are together. Children under 8 must have an adult with them. If the adult does not want to make art, then register one person.
