Last Tuesday, Rejuvenate Housing celebrated the completion of its third house. The house was completely transformed into a four bedroom, two and a half bath, plus a two car garage.
Renovation on the house started in December of 2023 and took seven months to complete. With money from Davenport's Extreme Dream program, grants from the Quad City Housing Counsel and Ascentra Credit Union, and landscaping materials from The Green Thumbers, the project was able to take place.
Rejuvenate Housing is a local nonprofit with the mission to restore neighborhoods while creating homeownership opportunities that benefit the whole community. The program runs to benefit first-time homeowners.
The nonprofit just purchased a fourth house and plans to start renovation to convert the house into a single-family home.
