The Augustana College men's basketball team will face Aurora University on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Division Three championship. The Vikings will have home court advantage, thanks to their 24-3 record. The Aurora Spartans' record is 17-11.

Augustana lost to North Central in the CCIW championship on Saturday. Aurora earned its national tournament berth by winning its conference tournament on Sunday.
The Vikings and Spartans have played each other 15 times over the years, with the Vikings winning 13 of the games.

Friday night's tip-offs at Carver PE Center in Rock Island will be at 5:30 for Capital University, Columbus, OH (20-7) versus the University of Wisconsin, Platteville (18-10), then at 7:30 for the game between Augustana and Aurora. The 2nd round game will be held Saturday night at 7:00, also at Carver. Tickets go on sale at 3:30 pm Friday and 5:30 pm Saturday.
