Moline police investigate fake bomb threat to school

Moline police are investigating a fake bomb threat to a high school.

On Monday around noon, someone reported a possible bomb in the parking lot of Moline High School. The high school, plus Roosevelt Elementary, was put on a "soft lockdown" while police searched the property.

In a news release, police said they didn't find anything in or outside the buildings. The lockdown was lifted after about an hour.

Police are investigating the phone call. Anyone with information can call the Moline Police Department or Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities.
