Rock Island man charged in Moline homicide

A Rock Island man has been charged in the murder of a woman he was dating.

This week, Moline police found 43-year old Victoria Tillotson dead in a car in an apartment complex parking lot in the 3600 block of 25th St. The Moline woman had been shot with a handgun.

In a news release, police say 35-year old David McAdams has been charged with first degree murder. He is accused of shooting Tillotson, who police say he had been dating.

McAdams appeared in Rock Island County court Thursday. Moline police say the case is still under investigation.
