Teenager arrested and charged for Davenport school threats

A teenager was arrested Tuesday for threatening violence at Davenport Central High School and McKinley Elementary School.

Davenport police say the threats were made on social media. It was reported to school resource officers, and an investigation showed there was "no immediate threat" to students or staff.

A 16-year old was arrested, charged with threats of terrorism, and transported to the Scott County Juvenile Detention Center.
