Genesis Health System says the COVID pandemic, rising costs, and staff shortages have caused "unprecedented financial pressures." And it addresses those by realigning resources.
In particular, Genesis says it had to close the Erie clinic because reimbursements have not kept up with rising costs.
The health system says it will work closely with patients to help them transfer their care to another location.
