Donna Walley owns Aunt Hattie's Fanciful Emporium in LeClaire.

She decided to support Andrew Yang after researching candidates' plans to improve the economy.

Amazon is killing us, absolutely killing us.

Walley is concerned because online shopping has caused a dramatic change in retail across the country. "Amazon is killing us, absolutely killing us."

Walley also supports Yang's proposal to give every adult $1,000/month, paid for by a new tax on Amazon, Google, and other companies that don't currently pay any federal taxes.

Walley says it would amount to about $5 million/month for LeClaire residents. And the retail shop owner thinks the majority of it would be spent locally.
