Augustana College Unveils New Health Clinic

Marianna Bacallao, WVIK News

Augustana College unveils its new health clinic today. Genesis Health System is staffing the clinic Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dean of Students Wes Brooks says that this clinic has been three years in the making.

"The health clinic will cover everything from sprains, strains, strep throat testing, (and) things of that nature at no additional cost to them."

Brooks says there is a caveat. If a student requires lab work or additional testing, there will be an added charge to cover expenses.

COVID-19 testing will also be available at the clinic, if a student has a doctor's recommendation.

Appointments can be booked online at Augustana's website.
