QC Pro Turns Quad Citizens Into Certified Experts

A new online program turns Quad Citizens into certified experts in their own hometown.

The QC Pro program, created by Visit Quad Cities, allows residents to explore the local area. After signing up, participants can complete three interactive videos, learning more about the attractions and activities in the Quad Cities. Once they've completed all three, they get a badge, certificate, and tool kit marking them as certified QC Pros.

Charlotte Morrison is the VP of Marketing and Communications for Visit Quad Cities. She says the program is built to foster a sense of community and help the region attract more tourism.

"It's about building a broader team of Quad Citizens to generate pride in the community and a welcoming spirit. Sometimes our residents are first people that our visitors run into. And the more they know, the more they have to share about the Quad Cities."

She says visitors are drawn here for the museums, festivals, outdoor activities, and the Mississippi River.

"There's a big variety of things to see and do here in the Quad Cities. And part of QC Pro is also getting more residents to experience those things themselves."

More information about the QC Pro program can be found at QuadCitiesPro.com.
