Workers from a federal agency will be on hand through early next month to help people impacted by flooding. Starting tomorrow, the US Small Business Administration will open four Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Illinois.

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency says homeowners and business owners can get help applying for low interest, long-term loans for recovering from record flooding along the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers.

Last week, the SBA issued a disaster declaration for Rock Island, Stephenson, Jersey, and Alexander counties, plus Henry, Mercer, Whiteside, Carroll, and Jo Daviess.

The SBA's Disaster Loan Outreach Center in the Quad Cities area will be located at the Red Cross on River Drive in Moline.
