This week, the Iowa DOT will change the traffic detour in Bettendorf. Starting Wednesday, weather permitting, 12th Street and Kimberly Road will be restriped for two-way traffic.
That means drivers going west on I-74 who take the Grant Street exit will turn left at the end of the ramp, then turn right to go north on Kimberly. The detour will not change for truck traffic.
The changes are due to improvements at the I-74, Grant Street, and US 67 interchange.
