Davenport is one step closer to hiring a new city administrator. Davenport Mayor Frank Klipsch will ask for City Council approval to hire Corri Spiegel.
Spiegel currently serves as the Interim City Administrator of Davenport and was the Assistant to the City Manager from August 2014 to June 2015. In that position, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the City’s municipal services and its executive leadership team while leading economic development programs for the city.
She has 13 years of experience working in municipal government, with 10 years of that in senior management. Prior to working for the City of Davenport, Spiegel was the Economic Development Manager for the City of Centennial, Colorado.
A contract for Spiegel will be on the Special City Council meeting agenda Wednesday immediately following the Committee of the Whole.
