Davenport detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 33-year-old Davenport man. Police say someone called 911 yesterday around 4 a.m. to report a man had been shot. Officers responded and found James Goode, Jr. in the 1,000 block of West 6th Street. Goode was taken to a hospital where he died.
An autopsy has been scheduled for today.
The Davenport Criminal Investigation Division is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the police department.
