The vice president of a private liberal arts college in Maine will be the next president of Knox College in Galesburg. Monday the board of trustees announced the appointment of Andrew McGadney - he'll take over in July from Teresa Amott who's retiring after ten years.
A native of Connecticut, McGadney is currently vice president and dean of student advancement at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. That follows three years as Colby’s vice president and secretary of the College, a role that made him the principal liaison to the Board of Trustees.
