Augustana Announces New Scholarship for Illinois Residents

Augustana College

Augustana College is offering up to $5,000 in scholarships to incoming students who might not otherwise be able to cover out-of-pocket expenses.

Admissions Director Karen Dahlstrom says the college is partnering with community based organizations in Illinois to help students access higher education.

"We had a lot of students who were very high-achieving, really well-prepared academically for college, having a hard time making it financially possible to come to Augustana. So, we really felt like an opportunity would be to connect with these community based organizations who are providing such incredible support."

For eligible students, Augustana will waive application fees, reimburse campus visit expenses, and cover enrollment deposits.
