An elementary school in Moline will close for two weeks because of a rising number of COVID cases among students and staff. Friday afternoon the school district announced Roosevelt Elementary will close on Monday (11/9) and not re-open for in-person classes until after the Thanksgiving break, on November 30th.
All extracurricular activities for Roosevelt students are suspended until November 30th.
All other schools in the Moline district will continue to offer "blended in-person learning" as usual.
