Thomson Prison Job Fair

Even though it won't open until next year, the Federal Bureau of Prisons will begin looking for employees for the Thomson prison. Tomorrow, a three-day job fair will begin in Thomson.
It's the first phase of hiring, and officials plan to fill 300 positions in food and health services, administrative support, facilities, and inmate programs. The Bureau of Prisons will begin looking for an additional 800 employees as the opening approaches.
Just last month, the bureau appointed Donald Hudson to be the warden.
The job fair will be held at the prison tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm, then on Wednesday from 11 am to 7 pm, and on Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm.
