Deputies, officers, and troopers are running for a good cause Wednesday. They're participating in this year's Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise money for the Special Olympics.
The 46-mile run began at the Rock Island County courthouse, and will end Wednesday afternoon in downtown Galesburg.
Runners are from police departments in Moline, East Moline, Rock Island, and Galesburg, plus the Rock Island County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois State Police.
