Step back to the golden era of jazz and vintage burlesque, as we revive the tradition of legendary New Year’s Eve celebrations.

The Adler Theatre sets the stage for a night of timeless glamour and glittering entertainment. “New Year’s Reverie” features an exciting live band burlesque experience, followed by the “FANfare”, countdown to 2026 at Hotel Blackhawk - two spectacular events just steps apart in downtown Davenport…

New Year’s Reverie at the Adler Theatre

The evening begins with a Burlesque Showcase unlike anything the Quad Cities has seen before. Headlining the night is Chicago jazz sensation Brooklyn Britches and the Whispers, joined by a star‑studded international cast of performers: Ms. Honey Bee Rose, Miss Nyxon, Hot Tawdry, Yulietta & Fana, and local luminaries Mac DeVille and Dannie Diesel (Danielle Colby).

Join the Second Line

When the curtain falls at the Adler, the celebration moves next door to Hotel Blackhawk. Grab your coat and join the “Second Line”, a New Orleans tradition where guests become part of the attraction, parading behind the first line of musicians and performers, dancing, waving and basking in the afterglow of the performance.

We’ll raise our glasses to the future with reverence to the past inside the historic Gold Room. Shadows of history linger in the opulent gilt and velvet, setting the stage for a luminous after party. Gin Rummy, featuring Dannie Diesel and legendary musician, Soda Gardocki, pay tribute to Sally Rand, the iconic enchantress who once graced the Gold Room with her feathered mystique. On New Year’s Eve, her spirit will live on as past and present entwine beneath the shimmer of starlight, feathers, and champagne bubbles.
