Let's read Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson together! The events of this novel are heavy but important; they remind all of us to advocate for ourselves, even when it feels like no one is listening. Speak was published in 1999, but is still widely read (and challenged) today. Let's dig into this contemporary classic and discuss why it's still relevant.

Teens only (ages 11-19.) Registration is not required to attend the book discussion; however, free copies of the book + extras will be given to teens who register for the book club.

Books will be available for pickup at the Davenport Public Library at Fairmount and Eastern beginning on Monday, February 23rd.
