Princeton Theatre Group Receives NEA Grant

The National Endowment for the Arts will help support a community theater in northern Illinois. The Princeton Theatre Group recently received a $10,000 grant from the NEA.  Artistic Director Shannon Hill says the money will enable the group to cover operating costs and continue producing the best possible shows.

The Group typically produces five shows a year, with the help of donations and sponsorships from the Princeton community. Hill says one of their programs is Camp 56, which gives children the chance to work with professional actors and directors.

This year's productions will include "Guys and Dolls," "Violet," and Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale."
