2026 Iowa primary results for greater Quad Cities area

In Scott County more than 20,000 voters cast their ballots for Tuesday’s primary election, June 2nd, according to unofficial election results from the Auditor’s office. That’s about a 16.37% voter turnout.

In Davenport’s House District 97, incumbent Ken Croken will not be serving a third term after losing to fellow Democrat Adam Peters, a former director at Clock Incorporated, an LGBTQ+ community center in the Quad Cities. Peters won by 640 votes. In House District 98, covering southwestern Scott County Automation/controls technician Andrew Fitzgerald defeated former Eastern Iowa Community Colleges professor Ruth Ann Gallagher by 84 votes. In the general election this November, he will face Republican Nathan Ramker, who ran unopposed.

Four candidates for the Republican primary for Board of Supervisors sought for the three open seats. Incumbents Jean Dickson and John Maxwell will continue to the general election along with Luana Stolenberg who came in third beating Jennifer McAndrew Lane. Democrat Kevin Randle is also running for the three open seats this November.

Clinton County voter turnout: 15.15%

Muscatine County voter turnout: 16.23%
