On Friday, the Center for Active Seniors will hold its 42nd annual St. Patrick's Day Race in Davenport. The route starts at Main and 2nd streets and runs along West 3rd Street.
Quad Cities St. Patrick's Day Race
On Saturday, the St. Patrick Society of the Quad Cities is holding its Grand Parade XXXVIII.
Starting at 11:30 am in Rock Island at the corner of 4th Avenue and 23rd Street, the parade runs through downtown, crosses the Centennial Bridge, and travels east through downtown Davenport.
There will also be many local pubs offering live music, food, and drink throughout the weekend.
