Today, Hy-Vee announced it will close four stores including the one on John Deere Road. The other three are located in Cedar Rapids (on Collins Road), Kansas City, Missouri, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The company says all employees will be offered jobs at other stores in the area.
Hy-Vee says it’ll send a letter to pharmacy customers whose prescriptions will be transferred to another local Hy-Vee pharmacy, or their choice of another pharmacy.
The store on John Deere Road will end its Aisles Online pickup service on Monday, December 6th. But delivery orders will be fulfilled by another Hy-Vee location.
The store will close permanently on Saturday, January 1st at 6 pm.
