Quad City Health Initiative

The Quad City Health Initiative is celebrating 20 years of helping the community. Wednesday it held a program to recognize its accomplishments.

We have cleaner teeth and more of us have quit smoking, but we still need more exercise and better access to health care. An effort that began 16 years ago has won some national recognition. The Quad Cities is one of 15 finalists for the 3rd annual Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize.
