A veteran college coach will lead the Clinton Lumber Kings during their first season this summer in the Prospect League. The team has announced the hiring of Jack Dahm to be the manager.
Dahm currently is starting his 7th year as head coach at Mount Mercy in Cedar Rapids, a job he will keep in addition to working for the Lumber KIngs.
He played baseball in college for Creighton University, then worked there as an assistant then head coach. He was head coach at the University of Iowa from 2003 to 2013 leading the Hawkeyes to the Big Ten Tournament three times.
