The Monmouth College women's basketball team will face No. 5 Wartburg in the first round of the NCAA Division Three tournament.
The Fighting Scots picked up the automatic slot by defeating Ripon in the Midwest Conference championship tournament.
Monmouth's record is 21 and 6, and 14 and 4 in conference play.
Game time on Friday is 8:00 pm in Waverly, Iowa, where Wartburg will have home court advantage. It follows a match-up between Wheaton and Whitman at 5:30 pm. Friday's winners will play on Saturday also in Waverly.
The Fighting Scots haven't played in the NCAA DIII tournament since 2012.
The team ranks third in free throw percentage at 77%, and fifth in 3-point accuracy at 36%.
