Dr. Dianna Shandy is a professor of anthropology at Macalester College in St. Paul Minnesota, where she's also served as associate provost, interim inaugural dean of the faculty, and special assistant to the president for strategic planning.
Shandy will start her new job in July, and replace Dr. Wendy Hilton-Morrow who's served as provost at Augustana since 2019. Hilton-Morrow will return to teaching communication studies and journalism, courses she's taught at the college in 1999.
