A grant will help the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges to encourage students to work in manufacturing.

Arconic has given EICC 100 thousand dollars to make promotional videos for K-12 schools, and build awareness for jobs in manufacturing.

Ellen Bluth is the Eastern Iowa Community College's Vice Chancellor For Workforce and Economic Development.
"It's really an exciting opportunity for us to do something that's not only great for the college, but it is such a partnership, and such a great opportunity to fill jobs in our area."

Bluth says she hopes this investment in potential future students, and the future workforce, can lead to growth, enrollment, and workers for everyone involved.
