The Chair of the Board of Trustees and Presidential Search Committee, John Murabito, has invited the campus community to meet the next president on Tuesday.
Current President Steve Bahls announced his retirement last January, and he'll officially end his ninteen years of leading the college next June.
He is only the 8th president in the school's 161-year history. A team of faculty and student representatives has worked since last Febuary to find Bahls' replacement.
All students and staff are welcome to join the announcent which will take place at the Lindberg Center at 11 AM. For those unable to attend, the event will also be live streamed on the Augustana Facebook page.
