Provost and Dean, Wendy Hilton-Morrow, says in five new classrooms, students can listen to traditional lectures, work in groups, and conduct experiments.

The $8.5 million addition also includes five research labs, places for students to relax, and offices.

Dr. Hilton-Morrow says Augustana paid for the expansion with donations, including a large gift from the Carver Charitable Trust. Russell Construction was the general contractor.

The college is also spending $3.8 million to expand Betsey Brodahl Hall, the home of its Communication Sciences and Disorders program.
