A committee has been chosen to find the next president of Augustana College. Monday John Murabito, chair of the board of trustees, announced the 13 members of the committee who will find a successor to current President Steve Bahls who'll retire next year (2022).
Murabito will lead the Presidential Search Committee which will include him and six other trustees, plus three members of the Augustana faculty, two representatives of the administration, and one student.
Helping the search committee will be Academic Search, a Washington, D.C.-based firm that specializes in leadership searches for colleges. And it will hold virtual listening sesssions later this month ( 2/24-26 ) to find out what skills and qualities possible candidates should possess.
