Just when you were hoping you wouldn't have to think about elections for a long time, it's time to get ready for the next one. Filing begins Monday in Illinois for next year's municipal elections.
The primary will be held on February 23rd, will the municipal election on April 6th.
Campaign packets became available in August, including general information and nomination forms. The filing period ends next Monday (11/23).
