Black FBI Agent Thrives Working in the QCs

During Black History Month, an FBI special agent in the Quad Cities says the best way to change the world is to be part of that change.

Michelle O'Neill reports Special Agent Don Miller joined the FBI after working in sales and at Atlanta's Hartfield Jackson Airport as an aviation investigator.

Special Agent Don Miller says the people skills he learned are essential to being an FBI agent in the Quad Cities.

He investigates financial crime and Violent Crimes Against Children, an assignment he requested.

In the future, Miller would like to help the FBI recruit more people of color.

While Special Agent Miller works in the Quad Cities, his position is based at the FBI Field Office in Springfield, IL

He plans to continue to promote cooperation with local police and sheriff's departments and encourages anyone who's interested to explore a career in the FBI.

Officially, Michelle's title for 28 years was WVIK News Editor. She did everything there is to do in the newsroom and whatever was needed around the radio station. She also served as Acting News Director from September 2023 - January 2024.
